Booked a van from San Antonio Limo to drive 6 people and their luggage from the Northwest side of San Antonio to the airport. At the time of booking there was some confusion regarding the pickup time from the airport on return, 12:00 midnight was originally assumed by the driver. This was caught in a later conversation and corrected to 12:00 noon. The correct pickup on return time was again confirmed in two separate conversations with the driver by both my wife and I prior to departure. \r \r Payment in the amount of $180 was made at the time of departure. This sum was for both the departure and return rides. A tip was also collected at the time of departure. This tip was in the amount of $40. The departure pickup was on time, the trip to the airport uneventful, and good service was received. Upon return, we waited curbside and called the driver as directed. This went on for over 2 hours. The driver did not arrive, and no response to the calls was made. We were forced to take two taxis home from the airport. This cost was approximately $160. We eventually reached the owner of San Antonio Limo, explained the situation, and was assured we would receive ALL our money back. Much later that afternoon we did receive a call from the driver confirming pickup at midnight. Surprising considering that we probably left a dozen voice mails around noon clearly stating that we had arrived, asking where he was, what was going on, and requesting that he call us immediately. The pickup date and time was scheduled to be December 30, 2013 at 12:00 noon, and again, was confirmed in two separate conversations with the driver prior to departure. \r \r Since that time, almost 6 months later, we have been given nothing but the run around by the owner. Accelerating our efforts to the point of rudeness, we have finally been able to get a credit of $90. While this is something, it is not what was promised by the owner. It is short $90 plus the $40 tip. We were told flat out that the tip would not be returned. On principle, the tip being a reward for what was predicted to be good service, is the biggest disappointment in this whole story.\r \r If you are considering service from this company I would recommend that you read and heed the reviews. If you do book them you may get lucky and be pleased with the service. Remember, even a broken clock is correct twice a day. I'm sure they do get it right once in a while, but in our case, and it appears many others, it's doubtful.
