Businiess name:  Philip Pelusi Hair Salon

Review content:
I have been to this salon before for waxing and hair, but my most recent visit was so terrible, it was definately my last.\r \r My appointment for a brow waxing was with Emily, who was rude and rushed from the beginning. She barely introduced herself, and rushed through the process like she was too busy to be doing what she was doing. The salon was pretty empty by the way, likely a sign that I shouldn't have been there either. She didn't take the time to move my hair/bangs out the way, so of course they got stuck and pulled in the wax. Then she hacked away at my skin with the tweezers, leaving little cuts. I must have been bleeding afterwards because she wiped my eye area with a paper towel. I can't imagine any salon situation where it is ok to wipe a customer with a rough paper towel in an area where they were just waxed. Ouch! It was the most painful waxing I've ever had and I""m not new to the process. I was in tears afterwards. I could have also done without the rude mid waxing comments such as ""How long has it been again since your last waxing."" \r \r I called back later to talk with the manager, but they were unavailable. I didn't feel comfortable saying anything at checkout because Emily hovered over my transaction the entire time. They definately make you feel pressured there. I tipped poorly, but in retrospect wish I wouldn't have tipped at all. I don't usually ever feel intimidated, but I felt that way at this salon. I left a message with the receptionist to tell the manager I had a bad experience with Emily, but no one ever called me back. I will never go to this salon again, and probably not any other chain salon. I think because there is no true owner presence, no one there has a sense of accountability, and customer service is lacking. \r \r If you are considering this salon, skip it, spend your money elsewhere. Especially never ever see Emily. You will definately regret it. Pros: Convienent location Cons: poor customer service, low skill level
