Businiess name:  American Vacuum Co

Review content:
The people working at this location seem extremely inept. \r I took my Miele canister vacuum in for service at the end of July. I called to check on my vacuum several times but did not get it completely repaired until the first week of September!\r Each time I called no one there seemed to know what was going on. Either the old bat that works there was on vacation or a Doctor's appointment or the person I *needed* to speak to was at lunch or not in that day. While I was told someone would be calling me back each time I called, I never received a single call back from anyone at American Vacuum\r Finally , the first week of September I got a call from the old bat telling me my vacuum was ready for pickup. No apology or mention of the length of time it had taken.\r Unbelievably, when I went to pick up the vacuum, as I lifted the hose, the head end of the vacuum fell off!!\r This was one of the problems I had asked them to repair when I initially took it in!\r I pointed out the problem again and the Bozo repair guy came out and fixed it in front of me saying ""Oh, that's a real easy repair...it will take just a minute""\r **If it was so darn easy why didn't he take care of it in the 7 weeks he had my vacuum?**\r Again, no apologies, nothing, nada.\r I decided I wasn't going to leave that shop unless I made sure my vacuum was working so I asked the old bat if they had an available outlet for me to plug into.\r While I asked nicely and was polite, the old bat appeared really put out by my request.\r However, she did hook it up to an outlet. It worked (thankfully!) and I left that shop with my Miele vowing to myself never to return.\r This Miele cost close to $1,000. I paid over $200 for the repairs. You would think for the $$ these people would be a little nicer and easier to deal with.\r Pros: My Vacuum works Cons: Very Poor Service, No Updates on Servicing Problems, Far too Long to Wait for Repairs
