Businiess name:  Red Pepper Chinese Restaurant
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
I placed a large delivery order from Red Pepper, including popular garlic chicken, chicken & broccoli, etc for a movie night at my house with friends. Needless to say, I smelled the order before it even came to my door from the elevator bank. The chicken was absolutely gag reflexive. I have never smelled anything so horrible in terms of food. The people in my building lobby were complaining of the smell. I promptly called the restaurant and was told the manager would call me back momentarily. He called back 2 hours later, and I explained to him what had transpired. He told me he would send someone to pick up my food, and have his waiters in the restaurant taste it to see if it was really bad. WHAT?!? The driver showed up an hour later, picked up the food, and the manager called to say SOME of the dishes were questionable, but others were ok. He would not refund my money, but rather give me credit on future orders, but ONLY for those dishes HE thought were not up to par. That was 2 of 8 mind you. He then said he would have the driver bring back the ones he thought were not 'spoiled'. Hope that helps some of you in your decision to opt for another Chinese venue. Pros: can't think of any Cons: offensive service, customer opinions and feedback are topics to argue, apparently
