Review content:
It's been years since I last had any contact with these people, and I'm still a little afraid to even post an anonymous review. When I was a patient there and called on the phone, I was never allowed to actually speak to my doctor. I had to speak to the receptionist, who'd get angry when I had questions. The doctor once insisted I continue on a medication that had been reported in the news as being dangerous and increasing the risk of heart attacks and cancer. I finally put my foot down and said no. The worst came when I called once for an appointment. They reminded me that I owed them a small amount of money. I told them that I was working a steady job and could take care of that and the new appointment now. That's when they told me that they had thrown me out as a patient several months ago, and I would never be allowed health care anywhere in Aurora ever again. Then the woman started screaming about how I was a violent psycopathic junkie and I'd come in there with a knife threatening to murder them if they didn't give me narcotics. (That is how she interpreted a polite conversation I'd had with billing two months earlier when I told them that I was unemployed at the time and couldn't pay them right away.) I thought about reporting them, but I was afraid to. It was only years later, when my health had started really going downhill, that I got up the courage to try to find another doctor. And I had to start from scratch. All of my paperwork is gone. I'm still afraid of these people, and I go to a doctor only when I absolutely can't avoid it. I just don't trust doctors anymore. Pros: Convenient location Cons: Uncaring and abusive
