After reading the other eleven reviews, I thought I brought my car to a reputable place. Upon entering the shop, the only person there at 7:45am was a woman pouring herself a cup of coffee. At first, I thought she was another customer, since she didn't say anything right away. Then she said she would be right with me, (didn't offer me any coffee which I thought was a bit strange since the coffee is right in front on the left side, implying it would be for the customers too!). After explaining my dilemma, she proceeded to find humor in it, often and loudly, blasting out into fits of laughter while taking my information. Good thing she does not work in the medical field. This attempt to 'humor' me or lighten up the situation backfired-I take my vehicle in to be serviced honestly and professionally; I'm not interested in humorous banter while attempting to get my car fixed. I left with the shaky affirmation that it should be done by the end of the day- all that needed done was a diagnostic to determine if the A/C was not blowing air due to a motor problem or an electrical problem? Sounded a little fishy, but I had to trust the previous reviews. I waited for the call and indeed, it was an A/C motor problem, which would cost me $293.37. GM parts MSRP is $224.96 or can be purchased from GM for $133.85. This was the beginning... the ""ENHANCED 49 POINT VEHICHLE INSPECTION"", which I sure costs them TIME to be so thorough and will be listed as no cost to you, is more than likely the reason the intial, walk through the door to inspect whatever problem you state is $115.89. Upon picking up the vehicle, I was shocked to see this list of necessary and suggested maintenance and repairs, especially since I had scheduled maintenance service done on it six weeks ago! They insisted the transmission fluid, along with a half dozen other things, needed to be done. I did not take their recommendations, took their paperwork back to the place that serviced it six weeks prior, and they showed me the transmission fluid-it wasn't dirty, but since I insisted they change it, they did.
