Gil did my first tat in 98. I designed numerous tat's for friends who all went to Tattoo Odyssey to get their ink done. I saw how my work looked on them, it was as if I did it myself. Ok, So i put off getting my second tattoo from Gil b/c I wanted to wait until after the summer... fast forward 12 years... I went back. Never thought to go anywhere else. Over the course of time I did a drawing that was what I wanted it to be. Showed it to Gil. He made a few recommendations. i made an app't. (the app'ts take time, b/c great artists have lots of followers). He expected 5+ hours on this piece. I was ready. he was ready. He said If I was willing to stay late, so was he. He went to work. The work was amazing. Just like he said, it was MY drawing, he was just the guy who tattoo'd it on my arm. I was there about 4 hours and it flew by. He makes you feel comfortable. Makes you laugh. Perfect mix of conversations and concentration... and didn't get annoyed when i asked a ton of questions (at least to my face, lol). I am already rolling my hamster wheel on my next tattoo and I know that Tattoo Odyssey is where I am going to get it. If you want one, get one. TATTOO ODYSSEY.
Pros: impecible work ethic. Clean. Cool. oh, and a great artist.
