Businiess name:  Lo Bello's Restaurant

Review content:
We visited LoBello's for the first time recently, expecting a good experience per its longevity and satisfactory review in the City Paper a while back. Only 3 tables had customers. The waitress, though nice, was new and lacked knowledge about the food. The food, though satisfactory in taste, was below average in portions. The hot sausage sandwich for $6.50 was the meat, bun and literally two dime-size pieces of green pepper underneath, not the peppers or onions like most other places provide. We did speak up, but got no understanding from the owners. All the lady could say as she physically poked my fiance in the shoulder was ""I've been here for 60 years"". The man was very defensive. He said ""the menu doesn't say it comes w/peppers or onions- you have to ask"", disregarding that the waitress didn't give us the option. The bill came for which the man abruptly threatened to call the police if we didn't pay. My fiance is from out of town and has owned and operated a small restaurant for 11 years and has never treated a customer like we were treated. We paid and left. We told them won't be back, and they didn't care to lose a customer. Maybe local familiar customers are treated well, but I'll tell anyone I know to spend their money elsewhere. The idea of being featured on Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives in the future must have gone to their head while the customer service went out the door.
