Review content:
The name is the only thing this place has going for it. The location is perfect, but the lack of service places it in a world of its own. I specifically went to this bakery in search of Italian cookies. I bought one pound as a test and luckily it was only a pound. The cookies were overly soft and crumbled at the touch; the filling was tasteless, so the skimpiness was inconsequential; same with the scant chocolate topping. I traveled 2,000 miles to NYC anticipating genuine Italian bake goods and came up short.
