Avoid this place totally. The staff is full of attitude and be very careful about what they charge. I found in 2 visits I had been overcharged 3 times! I got refunds, but still, who needs that? But it gets worse, lots worse. I asked for a recommendation for a stylist and had a consultation. I came back for a cut and it was nothing short of vandalism. I noticed when I came in my hair was the prettiest there before the cut, that should have told me something. When I left all of my long red curls had been cut off and what was left was very uneven, some of my bangs were only an inch long, other pieces were past my eyes. The top was too short to set and went up to a point. It looked like a child with scissors had attacked me. I specifically told the stylist not to cut the top or bangs as they were just right. She didn't listen to me, she just did what she wanted and it didn't work. People I work with were all asking me what happened, one person started laughing when they saw it and couldn't stop. It was ugly and so bad I complained to management and they made a second appointment to try to fix the mess. A senior director and director of guest services met with me and they were very nice. They admitted the cut was not done according to normal standards and apologized profusely. The director tried to cut the hair so it made some sense but they used so much product my hair was like a helmet, worse the set went flat within an hour of leaving. I had to buy a wig on the way home. It was an expensive lesson to learn. I'm still waiting for my hair to grow back but I will NEVER go to a Penzone salon again. To me it is all glitz and glamor in terms of the building but the people inside do a very poor job. The place is full of attitude and they seem to think they are something special. Don't fall for the hype, I learned the hard way.
