Plaza Barber shop is one of the best salons in Milford. The two ladies there do joke around but never with the intention of hurting your feelings. If you dont like it then tell them. I have been going there since i was little. John the guy has been cutting my hair for ever. One of the ladies did my prom updo and she did it perfectly. I didnt even have a picture and she got it right. I have also gone there for weddings and they do the updo's fast and with quality. They might joke around and stuff but it's just part of the portuguese culture. They create a commrodery with their clients and take the time to learn and remember your name. You can tell how long these three have worked together just by the way they interact. They keep the place spotless and answer the phones themselves. All of this while cutting and styling your hair. There prices are reasonable compared with just going down main street to another salon triple their prices and getting your hair done by someone who cant speak English. You either like the place or you dont. It's not one of those stuffy high priced salons where the hairdresser dose your hair as fast as possible with out ever saying two words to you. If thats what you want go somewhere else. If what you want is everything I described before go to Plaza Barber Shop.
Pros: They take the time to remeber your name. They joke around. Everyones always laughing.
Cons: There's never a dull moment. Your not paying a ton. You can't sleep through it.
