This is a great local bar. Really low-key, easygoing. Great to decompress. I go there at least three times a month.I usually pay cash here, but the one time I had a credit card tab, the bartender overcharged us by $19. He tried to act like it was our fault because we had three people putting drinks on the tab and even chided me for that. But in reality, it is not difficult for bartenders to keep track of a tab. It wasn't busy and there were only about three other open tabs in the whole bar. He either ripped us off thinking that we wouldn't notice that it was about double what it should have been, or he really made a big mistake. Mistakes are fine. Becoming belligerent when someone soberly asks for clarification is not okay. We asked for an itemized bill and he blew us off. He was very rude. To be fair, the rest of the bartenders are great, and we had never seen this guy before. Don't avoid this place, it's great. Just don't start a tab.
