In downtown Naperville, Illinois, a modern and bustling city, there is a small remnant of the original settlement that began the town you now see. Several times a year, there are festivals or recreations of timely events. But, the settlement is open at other times. Visit it often, because even though it's a historical site, things are anything but stagnant. It's a fun place to visit and I guarantee you'll learn something new.

They have a ton of private party rooms, and also have a big dining area for everyone else. The food is a little pricey, but it is very good! This is a great place to take the kids for some entertainment!

I went to Art & Frame of Naperville toget nice frameing. I brought in a painting and had it framed a couple of months ago. They stretched out the cnavas and put a real nice wood frame on it. It was little expensive.... they charged me $ 150 for 16X 20 size picture but did nice work.They gave me on time service is fast.

If you're in the mood to watch a movie, check out Hollywood Video on South Naper Blvd. They have a huge selection of dvds, but better yet, they usually sell previewed movies at ridiculously low prices. The usual sale is four movies for $20-- not bad! They are also in the process of clearing out their collection of VHS... 5 for $10. For that price, it's cheaper to buy the movie than to rent it! From time to time, you can also catch a great deal on new movies. I picked up Ice Age and Princess Diaries for $1 each, both still sealed in their original cases.
Employees are very friendly but not overbearing. It's always nice when the employees don't hover over you or follow you around the store like they're expecting you to steal something and run.

A good store for a novice who wants to learn an instrument. A reasonable selection of instruments and sheet music. A knowledgeable staff is present to answer all of your questions. Conveniently located with ample parking. They will also suggest places to take lessons. A good place to take children for their first instrument or lesson.

Admission is very affordable. If you can wait awhile after a movie is released to see it, this place is definitely a bargain compared to other theaters. Expensive concessions do more than make up for the cheap movies, though. It's a little run down and messy, and staffed by mostly teenagers, but I guess you get what you pay for. All in all, it's worth your time.

If I could post photos I would-- this is a beautiful little chapel on Naper Settlement- perfect for weddings and reasonably priced. We paid $400 6 years ago. Beautiful stained glass windows, nice scenery outside. It was a methodist church in the 1800s. You can also find interesting things (chapel themed) in the gift shop on site as well. For example, I bought a print of the chapel from when it was a church a long time ago.
