Review content:
I just want to say how incredibly rude and unprofessional City Storage has proven to be. I came into the office a month ago and discussed with the owner in person about renting a unit from the 15th to the 15th. He said, ""We don't typically do that, but I can this time"". I called once again two weeks prior to reconfirm that I had a reserved unit from the 15th to the 15th for a total of $171. Once again, I called a day or two prior to moving to confirm for a third time that I could rent starting in the middle of the month for $171. I spoke to both Jeff and his co-worker about doing this, because I know it was not typically done and I wanted to be absolutely sure since I was moving that day. When I came in to complete the paperwork today, Jeff who I had spoken with whispered to his co-worker about the ""15th girl"" who he then passed me along to and then mysteriously disappeared. He was beyond rude and called me a liar, saying I had never spoken with either of them about renting from the 15th. That baffled me since my call record clearly showed conversations with City Storage a month ago, two weeks ago, and a few days ago. It was very apparent they had discussed the situation and decided there would be more profit to lie and not honor the reservation. His co-worker argued with me and became defensive rather than apologizing, which further showed that they were purposefully trying to jerk me around. I don't know if they were trying to get more money out of me or if someone else wanted to rent the unit for more profit, but it was inexcusable that they blatantly lied about not speaking with me and the triple-confirmed reservation I had made. If anything, they should have simply said they made a mistake and misunderstood the time frame I was trying to rent and APOLOGIZE rather than argue with me like a child. This company has terrible customer service; go here if you want to be called a liar and jerked around.
