Well, we had a rough start on the telephone. My cat needed to be seen asap and they put me on hold. OK, no problem. It was 6:20 and this was the only place still open (until 7pm). The man asked for my number to call me back. I was getting nervous and decided to head for the emergency vet. On my way there VCA called me back. It was now 6:40. They agreed to see my cat and we headed there instead. The vet saw us very quickly. The staff was friendly, especially the Vet himself. (Except my kids didn't think so when the vet asked which one of them needed the shot). LOL. Long story short...facilities were very clean. Staff was friendly and they took my cat (not a previous client) 15 minutes before closing. I think I've found my new vet. It was $50.50 (competitive) for the exam fee. The antibiotic shot was $65.55 (yikes, but it was a shot and I don't have to trick my cat into taking any pills for 10 days). Also, all in all cheaper than the emergencey vet I think. Pros: Vet was great and they saw us on short notice right before closing, very clean!!! Cons: maybe the receptionist guy was having a bad day?
