Talk about unprofessional. Twice, twice I dealt with this place. The first time was on a gift card, good service, manicure, but terrible customer service from everyone else. At one point someone left crying. Very confusing to see while trying to relax. No big deal though since I was happy with my mani. The next time I booked with the same girl only to figure out that she had moved on (which the girl on the phone sounded like she wasn't happy at that fact). So I booked with another young woman. Very expensive, but I like to find a routine. I ended up waiting 30 minutes in the little receptionist area where apparently all the action goes down. I would say I was upset for the wait, but the entertainment kept the time flying. The older manager or whoever she may be, proceeded to hunt down almost every girl in the room, tearing into them. If you lost sight of her you could still hear little outbursts of anger and whimpers coming from the staff, it was downright frightening. I was in some weird drama film. When I actually got my mani/pedi it was fine, but the girl doing it look like she just went through Hell and back. The bottom line is that the place is a mess, the service is ok, but it is silly atmosphere with no sense of professionalism or customer service. Good for a cheap laugh, but for the price I would recommend steering clear of Scandals and avoid the embarrassment. Pros: some skilled workers Cons: price, attitude, professionalism
