This place has the tastiest and most authentic Peruvian rotisserie chicken in the city. I'm Peruvian and I've tried many Peruvian chicken places in the metro NYC area. In my opinion, the chicken in this place is the yummiest and closest in taste to the delicious "pollo a la brasa" I've had in my home country. Be warned, this restaurant offers a limited selection of Peruvian dishes: mostly chicken and a variety of side dishes (beans and rice, fried plantains, yucca, fries, salad), ceviche (which I've never tried here but I've heard is bad), and jalea (which I've also never tried here but I've heard is quite good). Basically, I come here for the rotisserie chicken and side dishes, which I must say are excellent. The chicken is marinated in delicious spices (not hot, just very tasty and succulent) and the green sauce that comes on the side is hot and very good. The side salad is also quite good and comes with plenty of avocado. Try dipping the fries in the green hot sauce to have the full Peruvian experience. Enjoy!
