Well i came here because my friend recommended me this salon, honestly i thought my hair came out great! I previously had an orangy looking blonde color, and Carlos turned it in to an ash blonde with low lighta that I absolutly loved! The only problem was he got bleach in my eye when washing my hair, but regardless of that little incident i highly recommend their services

Wow, I had no idea that such a place existed until yesterday when my friends surprised me for my birthday. I loved the food. I never had Indian food before and always wanted to try it so my boyfriend and me friends surprised me with this restaurant. I had the masala dosa and the chicken makhani. I was not sure if it was going to be spicy, but to my surprise the waiter asked us how we wanted our food and their medium level was good. It wasn't spicy. Also, there are so many ethnic places to shop around on the block. I highly recommend this place to anyone who has never tried Indian food before.
Pros: Thumbs up

Growing up in Elmhurst I've been exposed to a variety of Columbian restaurants. I've had the best experience at La Pequena Columbia thus far. Nice atmosphere , but the most important thing is obviously taste, and this restaurant is a great example of what Columbian cuisine is supposed to be about. And you'll be lucky to finish the portions in one sitting, which I love!!
Pros: Big portions!!! Great Authentic Columbian Flavor!!
Cons: What are the drawbacks?

I have patronized this establishment for several years now but of late I have noticed the cuisine here has been taken to another level. Take, for example, my dinner the other night: to start, shrimp tostaditos beautifully aligned on an elegant platter, so simple yet packed with flavor (there's more to the avocado than meets the eye here), a simple homemade corn tamale drizzled with what the server explained was in-house herb-infused honey. Delicious, I would come back for that alone and order it with a nice glass of their verdejo. As my main I opted for the seafood moqueca, another unique treat, unlike any i'd had before, with a velvety broth sprinkled with peanuts for depth of flavor, and seafood both sauteed and seemingly chargrilled for an unexpected and delightful range of textures. I will even be bringing my picky mother-in-law (she's from the City) here because I know she will love it.
Pros: outstanding food

This was one of the first restaurants my husband and I tried when we moved here two years ago. We were greeted warmly at the door and the service continued to be outstanding throughout our meal. Let's get to the meal- my husband had the skirt steak and I had the filet mignon medallions. They were both made perfectly as requested and sooooooo delicious! There are steaks and then there are THESE steaks! They give you huge proportions too, not that you need that type of gimmick to draw people in. The steaks are stars in and of themselves! We've gone back several times since and have had the same level of service and good food (the other good stuff: the pork chops, the meat sampler, the flank steak, the short ribs) We've brought our guests over to try it out too and no one is ever disappointed. There is only one section of the menu that I wouldn't recommend, and that is the pasta section. My husband ordered an alfredo dish once and it was almost non-edible. Why he veered away from the meat section I still can't fathom to this day.

This restaurant is on the 74th Street strip of Indian stores and restaurants. Their food is excellent, and I suggest their samosa chat. They also have a tiny side shop just selling snacks and sweets, where I will often stop by on the way home from work to pick up samosas and other goodies. Dehli Palace is usually not as crowded or as loud as Jackson Diner.
