Review content:
I am currently discussing a problem that has developed while working with Littrell Homes. How he, Robbie Littrell, handles this problem will determine whether he heads a company based on customer satisfaction or whether he is only interested in making money. Stay tuned. 1/16/09 I met with Robert Littrell to discuss a mistake made by is company while remodeling my home. He refused to take responsibility for their mistake. He was physically and verbally threatening. While I was showing him the problem and trying to explain the sequence of events leading up to and after their mistake, he was loud, getting in my face and calling me defamatory names. On a number of occasions he implied he wanted to beat me up, by saying things like, "Let's you and me go outside". When asked if he was threatening me, he said, "Yeah, let's you and me go for a walk". Unless Robert Littrell has a change of mind about accepting responsibility for his employees mistake, we will be headed to Arbitration. Stay tuned 1/26/09. 2/25/09: Request that Littrell and I start arbitration, as stipulated in Littrell Homes contract, to settle the dispute about Littrell removing my wood flooring. However, because the Littrell Homes contract has a "loser pay all" clause in the contract the American Arbitration Assoc. can't proceed. They ask me to waive this clause (which I did), however Littrell Homes refused to do so. 2/25/09: Asked the Contractors Licensing Board to get involved. The called Littrell Homes to see if he was willing to mediate this dispute. He refused to allow them to do so. 3/4/09: Received a letter from the Contractors Licensing Board. The sent Robert Littrell a letter of reprimand for not having the proper disclosures in his contract. This is only one of the many problems with the Littrell Homes contract. 5/10/10: We finally settled our dispute with Robert Littrell. This case was forced by Robert Littrell Homes to go to arbitration. It was the ruling of the court that Robert Littrell Homes, Inc., removed ourhardwood floor with out our concent and was responsible to make the necessary repair. The judge valued the cost of the repair to be $450. However, the cost to me was $3260. Not once did Robert Littrell offer to make good on his employee's mistake. Robert Littrell's statement at the hearing was that he would do the same thing, if he had to do it over again. Even though Littrell's attorney agreeded that an employee of the company made a costly mistake and misjudgement regarding our flooring, Robert Littrell never owned up to his employee's mistakes or show any willingness to recognize or resolve the matter. Robert Littrell's stubburness and bullying personality cost both parties a lot of money. I hope this review will prevent a person looking for a reputable contractor from making the same mistake we made when we hired Littrell Homes, Inc. (Robert Littrell) Cons: Unprofessional, argumentative, verbally abusive
