Businiess name:  Bimini Twist
Review by:  Leroy P.
Review content:
Having been to Bimini Twist many times (I live in Orlando, but travel to West Palm for their excellent pork chops), I was very upset with the visit I made with friends on New Years Day. The pork chops always came two to an order; but it seems that only one comprises an order now. I asked to speak with the Kitchen Manager, and he explained that instead of two 8 oz. chops, there was one 14 oz. chop, now. This was done because of the deteriorating quality of the former supplier's chops, he said. I did order the new chop on his suggestion, and found it to be every bit as good as the former ones; in fact, it was the same size and quality as each of the original ones. Bottom line is that he lied about the reason - if you're cutting back the quantity, own up to it. After waiting an appropriate time for my dinner, it came out cooked to totally the wrong temperature than I ordered. I sent it back to have it prepared correctly, and by the time it came back, everybody in my party had already finished their dinner. The manager brought it back with the explanation that the cook had a "bump" and had prepared it the way he had been taught. I explained that he should have more carefully read the server's order sheet, whereupon the manager again took the cook's part. After waiting as long as I did for my dinner, I would have expected him to at least offer somewhat of a dollar reduction, if not to totally comp my dinner; instead he brought out one dessert for all six people to share. Needless to say, I will not be going to this restaurant anytime again.
