Mountain Books & Gifts is a small corner store in the Lansing Mall that is full of great gift ideas with a "new age" flare. They offer very unique gifts including jewelry, buddah statues, and there was even an egyptian statue for sale outside of the store front.
The store has a very "organic" feel to it, with gifts and items that seem very worldly. Gems, statues, sculptures, books and music. It reminds me of the kind of store you'd find in a cultured university town, tucked behind some of the major retail chains.
It is a nice change of pace if you're looking for that unique gift for someone you care about.
