The Warehouse carries a small selection of china patterns and flatware. The other part of the store has a really good selection of picture frames. Other items include gifts for children and high school graduates.
They can be pricey, but you are paying for convenience.

Cafe Du Monde is one of the best tourist stops in New Orleans. However, the locals frequent this place just as much. They are known for their delicious beignets, which are square pieces of dough that are fried and then covered in powered sugar. They are served fresh and hot. You can get a great cup of coffee with your beignets too.
This is a "must do" when you visit New Orleans. When you leave, you can buy a box of the beignet mix to take home with you.

You can't beat Mike Anderson's Seafood Restaurant for great tasting food and fabulous New Orleans ambiance. This restaurant is always packed (even though it is rather pricey) because the food is so delicious. They offer a great assortment of Cajun seafood dishes. We love to try different things everytime we go because everything is so wonderful. Some of our favorites include Crabmeat Au Gratin and the Fried Seafood Platter (where you can sample all of the great tasting seafood). Warning: Some of the entrรฉes have a "bite" to them.
The service is great! The staff is so friendly. It is a perfect place for a tourist to experience Southern Hospitality.

The Landing is a great place to sample some of Louisiana's creole food. While most of their menu is rather pricey, they do offer a great lunch menu with decent prices. Some of our favorite cuisines include the chicken and sausage gumbo and the alligator tails. The atmosphere is rather formal, though you will always find someone in jeans because it is a college town and a tourist town.
The service is always great too. Sometimes the parking can be a nuisance because of the restaurant's location on Front Street.

They offer a wide variety of food from brisket, country fried steaks, mashed potatoes, green beans, okra, and the best biscuits! This is the kind of food that only your grandmother could know how to make. It is affordable. They offer a buffet so you can try everything!!!

Though at first I wasn't sure if I liked him, Dr. Hauffe won me over before the end of our first visit. He takes a minute to warm up to the parents, but the children love him right away. You can tell he loves children. Dr. Hauffe was our pediatrician for three years. He is never quick to prescribe unwanted medicine. He never seemed to be in a rush. Dr. Hauffe always took time to talk to me and answer my questions.
I was always impressed with the scheduling in his office too. They always seemed to be on schedule. I never had to wait in the waiting room very long.
My son enjoyed the aquarium in the waiting room. He was always so excited about his trips to see the doctor.

This is the place I prefer to take my dog when we live in Louisiana. Dr. Camp has a true love for animals and it shows. The prices are extremely affordable. I think this is because Dr. Camp wants everyone to be able to afford to take care of their animals.
It is so easy to get an appointment. Most of the time, you can just walk in, and they will be able to see you right away. There are times that I brought my dog in for something small, and they didn't charge us at all.
The pet medications are affordable there too.

I love a place that will love on your animals. St Joseph Animal Hospital does that. They are vets office and a boarding place too. The only draw back is that your pet has to be a patient of theirs in order for them to board your animal. This is the only boarding place I have left my dog. They took good care of her. They let her play and loved on her while we were away.
The staff is friendly. Most of the staff doted on my dog while I was waiting for her annual checkup. You can tell they love animals.
They are also affordable.
