Why is a cup of coffee open for review? Well, I'll tell you. For many of us, Starbuck's was the only java offering in CLT, unless you have the time to stop by a crowded Dean & Deluca on your way to work, in which case you might as well brew at home because you have too much time on your hands, but now that there is a few Caribou's around, I feel like my loyalties have shifted. Not only do I prefer the mild coffee of Caribou, the staff is extremely welcoming and accomadating and obviously happy to be working there. I drink iced coffee and they have the best IC in the county. No more Starbuck's for me. Try this place for a better tasting, less expensive, friendly option.

Not that I'd never go anywhere else, I love to shop around, or get java from the nearest sometimes. But if I had my choice, I'd always pick Caribou. They're always consistant, and the coffees seem to be the BEST in my opinion. If there's a Caribou in the district, I'd pass the rest to get there. If I'm wanting to hang out at a coffee shop, I'd rather go the extra mile to hang out at Caribou, and my kids love going there as well. Just wish there were more of them!!

Nothing special -- except it's very small. VERY convenient location, though, and the barista's have always been competent and nice. I like the chairs by the window.

I love love love this place. Why is it only in Charlotte? They should have a chain with one on every corner. Okay, the deal with Therapy is that they have HUGE delicious martinis of all kinds of flavors. I went with a group of friends and we each ordered a different one so we could taste them all. Every single one of them was incredible and beat out most other martinis I've had. My second favorite was a chocolate one with Godiva in it. Incredible. My absolute favorite one was strawberry cheesecake - it had graham cracker crumbs around the edge of the glass! I will go back there every chance I get. Oh, the live music was also really fun, as was the atmosphere.

Very similar to your average coffee house these days, Dilworth coffee house has a typical setting of couches and mix n’ match seating available. The coffee is excellent although a bit pricey at $6 for a half pound. They have a great variety of drinks and there’s ice cream available for the kiddies as well as a childrens area to play in. Some funky gift items as well – mugs, etc. Very nice place

Lava Java really understates itself. Seriously. You look at it from the outside and think it’s a coffee shop and “café.” You walk inside and the waitor is extremely attentive, excellent manners, and very nicely dressed. The menu has an excellent selection of coffees, fabulous mixed drinks, wines, beers, elegant and tantalizing appetizers, sandwiches or full meals, as well as a convincing dessert menu. While we came for coffee and a sandwich, we ended up having Irish coffee and an elegant (though small) meal. The spinach artichoke dip was superb. We got out at $20, though we did not order a full meal. This place is a great choice for a nicer meal with some excellent coffee.

Starbucks is simply the BEST coffee shop around with their awesome fraps and mocas i just love starbucks. They have enough room to just chill and bring a laptop to surf the internet wirelessly. I just love their drinks and upscale atmosphere which just simply can't be beat. I go there every morning and will continue to do so.
