I came here as a new runner with many questions and was surprised to find out how helpful they are. This is the best place in town to buy running shoes as the staff here really knows their stuff. They measure your feet, see how you stand and walk, and pick out shoes they think will work best for you. I got a great pair that I never would have picked out on my own! They also have the best running gear in town: clothes, socks, etc. You can also turn in an old pair of athletic shoes for a donation and receive $10 off your shoe purchase. The prices are a bit high, but that is what you should expect from a highly specialized store such as Run-Tex.
