The Houston Zoo is one of the best in the country. This zoo is continuously growing with new exhibits and animals. This zoo is open through the year, so that is very convenient, but the recent price increases are not. Their animal display is just amazing with over 20 endangered species, and over 500 other species. This zoo is very unique, for it has completed many new things that zoos have yet to tried, like the breeding of koalas.
