Yes many people shop at Shaws, why because it is close bye and most convenient. Shaws in my opinion is not as cheep as they say, (Not with a family of six mouths to feed including my own!) Maybe with their $10 for $10 deals you can get some good byes, but that is about it. There prices on meat without having a sale is absolutely ridiculous. For 2-3 pounds of Hamburger, it is almost $10 or more dollars! I know of one place in mind where you can get 5 pounds of Hamburger for $10 dollars and that's not with a sale price either. I will tell you that place in mind on another review later. Any way Shaws fruit also is not that fresh most of the time I bring home their fruit and I find that it spoils in 2-3 days or so, without putting it in the fridge. I also find that it is hard to get any kind of customer assistance on the floor, also at times their lines can get extremely long with not enough people to run them, it seems like you wait there forever, (Maybe that is just my luck!) On the positive side Shaws most of the time is well stocked. You can find what you are looking for, if you are familiar with their new layout. Shaws also can have some good sales, if you catch them in time. But I'm waiting until the new Super Wal-Mart opens and that is where I will be shopping for my groceries.
