Had an oil change and tire rotation this morning.
Good things - oil change and tire rotation in under 2 hrs. Was called on cellphone when car was ready. No upsells or haggling.
Bad things - While my car was finished in a reasonable time, the wiper fluid was not filled (as I told it would be by the initial rep who took my keys when I dropped it off). Makes me wonder what else they did not do... Also, inside was fairly oily (driver's side door panel, steering wheel, gear shifter). I wiped down most of the oil with napkins I had in the car, but the steering wheel still feels a bit grimy.
Overall, I'm planning on using Wal-Mart from now on. This is the 2nd time I've received similar service at these types of service centers (same thing happened before at a Meineke). Price was no better ($38 total) and service was in fact worse, given that I had to go back and get fluid, them to wipe down to door panel, and there was no apology made, just a bit of rudeness.
