I went to the Swedish bakery for the first time this past Saturday to pick up a cake for mother's day. This place was really crowded with people, but service was really fast. The girls that helped me choose my cake were really friendly and did a great job at helping me choose the cake that would be just right for my mom. I also picked up a few chocolate cupcakes for myself!
While the service was wonderful, I didn't think much of the actual cake and treats. I got a fruit cake, which had some really sour fruits as topping to a white cake that could have used a bit more sugar. As for the cupcakes, they were a bit dry and the frosting was not sweet enough for my own liking.
I don't know if it was just my first experience or what, but judging by the other reviews, I should definitely give this place one more chance..
