Some brewpubs are known for their great beer, others for their food….21st Amendment is the best of both worlds: great, hand-crafted beer and great food. Unique twists on traditional bar food fare abound, with signature soups salads, sandwiches and burgers. Favorite menu items include the sweet potato soup (made with blue cheese and topped with walnuts) and the seared tuna salad. As for the beer, it’s all good, but check for the seasonal selection (this summer’s brew was a light, surprisingly good, watermelon ale garnished with a slice watermelon.) The décor is lots of raw wood and large windows let in all that SF natural light.
