historical as well as great food 1/21/2006

The Union Hotel is one of my favorite places to eat, it is small, not overcrowded, the waitresses wear bonnets and dresses of old. The tables are not perfect and neither is the floor because the place is very old. It was an inn used for the railroaders to come to, a place they could get a bite to eat and clean up and rest. The owners have kept everything all origional, it has alot of flair, alot of old antiques inside to keep you occupied. There are two private rooms if you want to invite a larger party. Their menu includes appetizers such as soups, frog legs, crap dip, and there dinner included prime rib falling off the plate stuffed with crab meat, twin lobster tails that will surely melt in your mouth, and a chicken breat stuffed with crab meat as well. There are fresh mini loaves of bread served before the meal, with sweet honey butter to top it off with. If you are looking for a romantic, private atmosphere, this is it, enjoy it and tell your friends. more
