This is the only movie theater offered in Manhattan, so they have the monopoly. This can often be frusterating to patrons who pay $7.50 per ticket (no discounts offered) and often wait in line for 30 minutes only to find out the movie is sold out.
Fortunately, the theater has undergone recent renovations. It has the new stadium seating, which is much better than the old theater seats that curiously enough smelled like urine. As much as I complain, I'm going to a movie tonight after work!
