More
The Renaissance Pittsburgh is one of my favorite hotels in the United States. I have averaged well over one hundred nights per year in luxury hotels for many years and have continued to find this hotel to be a warm inviting place for business and personal needs. I have stayed in the Renaissance at least three times per year since it opened and seen it only improve.
The rooms have all been spacious and well appointed with the little touches (Chocolates, spring water, extra soft towels) that make the experience much more enjoyable. The extremely high ceilings in the rooms and the number of windows provide a feeling of airiness and space that many hotel rooms lack. They are rooms that you can look forward to going back to after a long day. I would, and have, recommended this hotel to business and personal guests and have had nothing but wonderful reviews. It has helped to change somewhat antiquated views of the region to visitors.
Keep up the excellent work in this gem of a hotel.
Pros: Atmosphere, Ambiance, Staff
Cons: The price has been increasing but still a good value

Abigail must like the cheap cardboard pizza from Maximum Flavor around the corner. Paul's pizza is excellent. Yes Smoker's are allowed. One of the few places around you can relax have a drink or beer and light up. Non smoker's should not complain because they have virtually the rest of the city to go and have a non smoking area to drink and relax.
Wed. night the Guiness special is awsome from 9-11pm. Other nights you can get a 5 dollar pitcher of beer. Friday there is a drink special from 9-11. The people are friendly if you respect the establishment as the owner is well loved by many people.
You can park in the Natonal City Bank during evening hours and all day Saturday and Sunday. They will be open for Steeler games in the fall and if the kitchen isn't open you can order out for food.
I will be back a hundred times over.
Yours truly,
Einstein
Pros: Smoker's Welcome
Cons: Kitchen Closed Sat and Sunday

My husband and I stayed at Sunnyledge while picking up our daughter from CMU. We absolutely loved it. Not only is it only about four blocks from the University, but the Hotel itself is gorgeous. Our room was beautiful, spacious and very clean. The staff was friendly and eager to please. We had dinner Saturday night on the outside terrace and it was delightful. The food was amazing! Our daughter and her boyfriend met us for drinks after dinner and we ended up staying a half hour after closing time. The bartender was very kind, we didn't feel rushed at all. Overall one of the best experiences at a hotel. Thank goodness our daughter is only a sophomore at least 2 more years of wonderful stays!
Pros: Atmoshere

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our one-night stay at The Priory Hotel. We welcomed the invitation to tour the three floors of the former Benedictine monastery with its tastefully decorated European-style decor We enjoyed the complimentary snacks and wine offered in the evening and we were impressed with how clean, comfortable and well-maintained the hotel is. Our room was CLEAN, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The courteous, friendly and helpful staff provided information freely when we needed directions to restaurants and area points of interest. As history buffs and classical music lovers, we enjoyed the softly-playing music as we sat in the Priory's lovely dining room eating breakfast. I wonder how it was when The Priory was a Benedictine monastery? We'll stay at The Priory Hotel next time we're in the area.

We were in Pgh. for a funeral and stayed 2 days/nghts at Friendship Suites. We love it there. The owner Mr. Cox, a very nice guy was always available to take care of any issue, (we had no issues). The beds were very comfortable, the linens - fresh and clean, the furnishing all beautiful and comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with all the necessities. All the facilities of home were there.
It??????s in quiet neighborhood and Giant Eagle and Whole Foods are in close walking distance. There are eating places in walking distance too but we didnt eat at any of them.
I would definitely rate this apartment 10 out of 10. We will highly recommend this place to our friends and others for their visits to Pittsburgh. The quality is every bit what you get in higher priced hotels. The value is outstanding.

My Husbsnd and I live in central NY and have been coming to Pittsburgh for sporting events approximately 7 years now, at least 2-3 times a year. Our first experience was at the Doubletree, (now the Westin) and we were extremely impressed by the quality, service, and price. Since then we have stayed all over the city, always coming back to what is now the Westin Convention Center. We have also traveled all over the country
staying in various hotels, and we both agree that nothing compares all around to the Westin Convention Center in Pittsburgh. The beds, the shower, the service, the food, the price, the view from up high, the whole experience is great and I would recommend it to everyone!!
Pros: comfortable, inexpensive, excellent service

Tucked away in Pittsburgh's "South Side", perhaps this city's most eclectic, diverse and dynamic neighborhood, is a delightful discovery. Here sits an 1862 Italianate style Victorian brick townhouse, bed and breakfast in Pittsburgh since 1996.
For Pittsburgh visitors, this Pennsylvania bed and breakfast is in the 3 mile radius of all that is uniquely Pittsburgh. Morning Glory Inn is in walking distance to 50 restaurant choices, numerous jazz/blues clubs, and many shopping choices.

This is a great company! We used them for our wedding transportation instead of going with the "traditional" limousine. We couldn't have been more pleased and there was enough room on our beautiful trolley for the entire bridal party, parents of the bride and groom, parents of the flower girl and the ring bearer, and there was still some room to spare! The company's event coordinator was a joy to work with and she made things so easy for us. And the price was extremely reasonable! Our entire experience with them was great and the time spent on the trolley the day of the wedding couldn't have been more fun!

More
Located in the Southside, this little Inn is really something special. We attended a wedding there recently, and although it's small, it definitely is wonderful place to get together with friends and family. The building is lovely with lots of little details that are typical of B&B design, but the courtyard, where we spent a majority of our time, was just beautiful. Lots of little cafe tables, benches and flowers. (Think "tea party" atmosphere) There was a gazebo for the bar, and little table stations set up all over for appetizers. I didn't see their bedrooms, but I've been told by several people that they're each unique and quaint in their own ways. This is definitely a nice location for an intimate affair or for a little weekend escape. The proprietors are very nice people and very accommodating of their guests. Certainly worth looking into....
