I like this sort of hardware store - a cozy place, been there a long time, a neighborhood institution. The staff are REALLY knowledgeable and it's a much preferable atmosphere to a Home Depot, Lowe's, etc. The cool thing is, you can find oddball items that have been in stock for a long while and may actually be unavailable elsewhere.
This shop was always called Heights Hardware before it became part of Ace Hardware. It's still got that neighborhood feel. Highly recommended.
