Loads of water slides and fun lazy mans rivers. Lots of kids areas too. When it gets busy get ready for long lines. Most of the lines are covered with trees so it is not so bad. I can take the entire family and have fun all day. Go on a cloudy day and it will keep some of the crowd away and less line issues.

Our first experience with The Place was with her sister club in Town Lake. The Place at Town Lake is more of a younger crowd, and the dancing gets started much later there. Don??????t get me wrong there's nothing wrong with the Place in Town Lake but, our quest to find a place where the interest is primarily dancing eventually led us on the longer trek to The Place in Marietta. Our long quest has ended as the dancing starts early and ends late at The Place.
There are other places inbetween, and we could easily go somewhere else, but we choose week-in and week-out to come back; now we are regulars on Fri/Sat nights. The Place is it if you like dancing, partying, and friendly people. You won't break the piggy-bank going here, drinks and dinner are reasonable. The food is excellent for the price. The Grouper sandwich is awesome, but bring a big appetite or a friend. The dress is club casual to formal. Special events like the Halloween Costume party, New Years, the Luau make the holidays The Place, the place to be! We had a wonderland time Halloween and the best New Years ever at The Place.
The best feature of this club is that people hit the dance floor early and keep the floor occupied until closing time. Many regulars come from all over the metro area to party here - I think that says a lot about The Place! Most everyone is friendly and easy going with lots of regulars who make this a great place to party and have a good time. The Cons, the music is really loud; forget having a conversation with more than one person at a time (then again maybe it's not a con), Greg can get a little repetitive with his selection and more variety would be greatly appreciated. Sometimes he gets a little carried away with the disco or the country and clears the dance floor. (Hey Greg, a little more punk, a little more funk, a wider selection of dance rap) It gets really crowded at times wi

I recently had the pleasure of having Jake of Jake's Piano Shop service my piano. Jake is not only extremely experienced and detailed, but a very personable and friendly guy. I felt completely at ease with him working on my pride and joy. The quality of his work was top-notch, and his pricing was very reasonable. Overall, an amazing experience not easily found in this type of service industry. I'll be calling on Jake again! Thanks Jake.

We took my daughter here for her 6th birthday. The kids loved all the rides. The rides are specialized for our little people to ride securely without the assistance of parents. The food is not very good and over priced. If you reserve space for a party they will supply the cake and entertainment (clown).

This is a great place to take the kids!!! The whole place is built and directed at the chilodren and their attention span. Ihave gone thet the Youth Museum at least a dozen times in the past 10 years with my summer camps. The children get to act out the plays and skits and they make each of the children feel like an actor for ten minutes. Thte kids always leave feeling proud and confident. Great Job to their staff as well

During the Summer, you can find corn, blackberries, muscadine grapes, apples and tomatoes. CD Warehouse is a good place to add to your music collection. They have a huge variety of music to choose from. They do not have too many odd or random CDs and have mostly more popular stuff however. Also they will buy your older used CDs and you can buy other used CDs here which will help you save some money.

Some friends and I took our then 2 year old children to White Water and had a blast!
There is a zero depth area where the younger kids can run around and get wet without worrying about going underwater. The area is filled with various types of water sprinklers and has a few slides.
Next to this area is another which is great for kids who are just a little older. I would say the depth is 2-3 feet and there is playground type equipment in the water.
There is also a lazy river, wave pool, and several slides for older kids and adults.
Go early to get a good parking spot for your car and belongings. Don't forget to pack your lunch or you'll end up paying $7 for a pb&j sandwich.
