Villa Rosa Restaurant is a great little eatery right on Lafayette in Hawthorne. It is a smaller restaurant but has a great family feel and more importantly excellent food. It can get really crowded on a Friday or Saturday night so go early or a little later. There is always take out available as well. Be sure to bring cash or check because they do not take credit cards. It is also a BYOB place- which is actually a really nice thing for me because then we do not spend a fortune on drinks. They normally have specials mid week that are a great value. So if you can go on a Tuesday, Wednesday or a Thursday, definitely shoot for that. This is a great place!
