The Santa Ana Zoo is perfect if you feel like going to the zoo but don't feel like sitting in a car for an hour before even getting to the gates. Plus, the Santa Ana zoo is really cheap so you don't feel bad if you only stay for a little while. It generally isn't very crowded which is nice. Overall, it's a fun experience without the price and distance of the bigger zoos.
