I was told about Judy from a friend. She was busy the day i needed to come in but she assured me that all the other girls were great so I took a chance. I got my hair cut and colored by Karri and she really listened to what I asked for. I have never had someone get what I was saying before bc I didnt know if i was making sense but she totally got me! Everyone was having a great time and it felt like I was hanging out with my friends. I tell all everyone about this place now and how they would be a fool not to go there.
Pros: great music great conversation great hair

I was still on the ServiceMagic website when Nicole Hubbard contacted me. Then, Nicole called me the night before to confirm and said the girls would be there the next day between 2:30 and 3:30--a one hour time frame--what a novel idea, cable companies! Then, they actually showed up on time with gear in hand--there were no smoke breaks or set up time--they came right in and started cleaning--on their hands and knees! All four were EXTREMELY polite and very quiet; they hardly even talked amongst themselves. These girls did in 1.5 hours what would have taken me days! And they were just as meticulous and anal as I am! +++HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Bill is wonderful!! After moving to Savannah, I tried a couple different salons and was always a bit disappointed when I left. They never did quite what I wanted and were way over priced. That's when I found Bill. He is such a wonderful listener, listening to everything I said, then discussing with me what would work and wouldn't work, and even went a step farther to explain to why it wouldn't work for me. Bill gave me the best cut and highlights I've ever had. He knew just what to do with my naturally curly hair. The privacy of the salon is peaceful and relaxing. You don't get that awkward feeling of being on display. Bill gives you his full attention and there is no whispering with other stylists, leaving you to wonder what they are saying about you. I highly recommend Bill to anyone looking for a stylist who achieves perfection every time!

Have been to the Vanilla Day Spa tons of times and wanted to share the experience with those looking for a great place to unwind.
Its always a challenge to find parking in downtown Savannah but that cannot be blamed on the spa obviously. So, go a little early just in case as to not freak out if your time is short!
The spa is just what you hope when you first walk in... nice and quiet (I heard no noise problems like other reviewers mentioned) and it smells great! The front desk person has always been kind and friendly. I also have never had a problem with my appointments... this is from one service appointments to packages, to gift cards to sending my step-daughter as a gift to her... no problems.
They have a great seating area to wait and have a nice drink and relax....
The appointments are always what I am hoping for. My favorite services have always been the massages, the facials, microdermabrasion packages, pedicure, and eyebrow waxing...
All were great.
I highly recommend Vanilla. You will not be disappointed. Do it for yourself or as a gift! NICE!!!!!

Debbie at Total Wellness does an excellant job. Just had my first visit and it was wonderful all the way around. I was in allot of pain and she was able to see me the next day from when I called. She was ready for me right when I got there, no waiting. The atmosphere is very soothing and private. She made me feel relaxed from the start and actually listened to what my I felt my problem areas were. Spent the whole hour working on me so you definitely get your monies worth. Very reasonable in price and took the coupon offered on this site with no problems. I tried other places but this was definitely the best. Much better than very expensive spa massage I got last week. Plan to go back for continued treatment. She did not push this at all and I appreciated that.

Both Mary-Christian and Kathy were very professional and understanding towards my first ever day of wedding dress shopping. If you are as nervous as I was in hoping to find the perfect dress then this is the place to go. You will in fact find the exact opposite at Bella Mia so make sure Gingerbread Bridal is the first place you go. They will set the standard for how service is supposed to be and are incredibly patient because I had to go back multiple times before I actually made my final decision.

When you book a wedding at the mackey house you envision a beautiful warm and sunny day and clear starlit evening. In the back of your mind, you know that there is a possibility that rain may fall; however, severe storms and tornado warnings are not in the picture. Our guests arrived in trolleys in the rain and were escorted into the house with umbrellas. They vistited and enjoyed the Mackeys beautiful and spacious home during the rain storm. During this time the staff was concerned about the safety of our guests and made plans to take guests to the garage area if necessary. After the danger passed guests were taken to the pavillion for the ceremony. The sound of the rain actually added to the beauty of the service. The guests then were invited to the home for the reception. The deck area was covered as best it could be so some people could eat outside. Others enjoyed the home, sunroom and large verands. The cutting of the cake would have been inside anyway. Guests stood downstairs and some went up onto the balcony and this was so picturesque. One concern we had was having the ability to talk to people when the dancing and music began but it was not a problem. Steping inside the kitchen, dining room or onto the veranda one could easily talk to guests. We can not say enough about the hospitality of Laura, Fred, and Dave the DJ. The music and entertainment provided by Dave was the greatest and the food was wonderful. The wedding couple and guest had a "blast". Some guests told us it was the best wedding they had ever attended. So if the possibility of bad weather is making your decision whether to book the Mackey House difficult it should not be a factor. On one of the stormiest and wettest nights in Savannah the Mackey House provided our daughter and now son-in-law with a beautiful and memorable wedding."

Every year right before christmas, my husband and my son we spend the weekend at the HYATT-REGENCY! Rooms always clean!! Extra pillows!! Room service SUPERB!! Whatever we want we get. It is like our favorite time together to just relax and hang out no worrys. River street is just steps away. Trolley rides, tours of Savannah, great places to eat. But we really just enjoy out time at the Hyatt!

Greener Grass Hair Color and Designs is AMAZING! I've never felt so welcome in a beauty salon. I've been going there for at least 3 years and wouldn't even think of going anywhere else. The hairstylists are not only friendly but extremely talented. You will always hear of them taking new classes and finding new ways to create fantastic hair styles. These are a few qualities that I have looked for in a Hair salon, but Greener Grass exeeds my standards. I have been to many other salons in Savannah and I've just not been as happy with it as I am at Greener Grass. You know you can trust the stylists there to be honest and tell you no when no one else will. I've even been lucky enough to sit in the chair say "I don't know what I want.. But i need a change" and walk out looking GREAT! I couldn't just give my Stylists credit because ALL of them are amazing and I recommend going there!
And their cheaper than some places!

My search for the perfect spa is over. I have been to four different spas in Savannah and have finally found one that I would highly recommend to everyone, Daydream Spa Therapies.
On the corner of Oglethorpe and Price, the location is perfect for locals and tourists. Due to the dedicated, free and ample parking, my tension began to fade upon arrival; those of you who live in Savannah or frequently visit the area know to appreciate this. Trust me, finding a parking ticket on your car after a massage because the meter ran out is not the way to retain the refreshed ?new you? feeling.
Sandi Newman, my Massage Therapist and owner of DST (previously Massage Therapist at St. Joseph?s/Candler?s Center for Wellbeing), is very knowledgeable in several techniques and showed much concern for my overall wellbeing. I have not had to opportunity to personally meet any of the other therapists but in passing everyone seemed very pleasant and friendly.
I most recently received a deep tissue massage but during my pregnancy, Sandi performed a series of prenatal massages. I give 100% credit for my lack of lower back and sciatic pain throughout the pregnancy to receiving these massages.
Pros: Frindly, knowledgeable, and gifted therapists, relaxing atmosphere, free parking
Cons: I have no cons at this time
