I have always loved candy and so as an adult what could be better than a sophisticated candy shop like the River Street Sweets. Located on the historic River Street it is a great place to find something for anyone with a sweet tooth. When you walk in you will be hit with the aroma of pralines. The River Street Sweets specializes in pecan pralines and they always offer you a sample, but beware, you too will become hooked!

I used this business by recommendation from my now sister-in-law many years ago in 2001 for a unity candle and tapers for my wedding. The experience then was great. Also, my husband and I went to visit my sister-in-law on our honeymoon and actually went to the candle factory and ended up buying another large candle and tapers to match. It was a great experience and I hope that the few people who had a bad experience don't ruin it for others thinking of using this company. My husband is, as we speak, on a business trip in Savannah and is on River St. on his way to go and get some more candles. Thanks River Street Candle Company!!

You can't visit River Street without stopping by River Street Sweets .This is nirvana for the candy lover ! You will choose from pralines , turtles , fudge , peanut brittle , and the list just goes on and on. My favorites are the pralines and turtles. You also can have an order shipped to you at home. Sinful !

I LOVE going here and getting the candy apples. They make the best in town and I can't help but get one. I also can never wait to get home to eat it so I end up making a total mess of myself. They have tons of other candy too that they do a great job with. It always seems packed when I go in there too, so it must be a good sign!

I decided to go with Peacock's Florist after reading the reviews on Citysearch, Google and Yahoo, and I'm glad I did. I had almost forgotten my future wifes birthday, I remembered that it was her birthday just before I left the office. I needed something spectacular to keep her happy and me out of the doghouse. A quick check of the reviews online, and my choice was obvious. I showed up at Peacock's Florist a few minutes before they were going to close, and instead of just handing me some roses, they asked me a few questions, showed me some ideas, and put together this amazing tropical style arrangement. I called my sweetie on the way out of the shop, and had her meet me downtown for dinner. When I walked into the restaurant, she saw the flowers Peacock's had made, she was so excited, I had to remind her to breathe! We got compliments from the folks at the restaurant, people on the street, and my fussy old neighbor lady. My sweetie took the flowers to work with her the next day, and said she continued to get "oohs and ahhs" from everybody at the bank. Thanks Peacock's! I know where we will be going for our wedding flowers, because Peacock's rocks!

Lived there for a few months, and went back often to visit my in laws. Love River Street and especially this store. We bought my daughter a tshirt and several other items. Definitely a place to visit if you go to Savannah.

one of my favorite stores in market city! this store offers a wide variety of kitty cat based items from t shirts, totes, other clothing and cards to incredible wall art and door hangers, not to mention paper weights and stationary with pens to match. a definate must see for cat lovers everywhere! a friendly staff as well.
