only a couple of miles away from the university campus, thesmall italian cafe DePALMA's is my favorite place to eat in town! the food served there are just simple, classic and delicious.... I heard that they blend the best of local produce and fresh seafood to bring such unique taste. The menu offers something for everyone --- from Grandma Salerno's minestrone soup to mouth-watering pastas, lasagna.....the setup is pretty warm. well, although it is not like those shinning natioanl chaine coffee shops, it sure makes you feel at home----beside, hey, it is downtown right over the bars!
