My daughter and I were very excited when a Build-a-Bear opened in our local mall. However, this location has some problems. Generally, when a child builds a bear, the employee asks them to do fun things with the little heart that goes inside to personalize the experience. But, when my daughter had a bear built here, the man just said "Kiss the heart so the bear can feel love, rub it on your head so he's smart". He said it very fast, without letting my daughter even do what he said. Then, he took it and stuck it in the bear, hurriedly. He never asked how much stuffing my daughter would like in the bear and he didn't ask her to hug it to make sure it was stuffed how she liked it. There was no one else in the store at the time, so there's no reason he was in such a hurry. The stuffing machine seems to make much more noise than they do in other stores. So, you have to almost yell to be heard. The woman at the cash register was waiting on one other person in front of us in line. We ended up waiting for 10 minutes while they finished their small talk. We were just disappointed with the whole experience. Hopefully, with time, they will improve their service.
