This is the church my daughter was married at and you have to see it to really appreciate how quaint it is. It has the perfect setting for a wedding and the people are very friendly. They went above and beyond when the pictures didn't turn out and we asked to use the church a second time for retakes. A perfect place for a wedding or to take the family on Sunday.

This is the church my husband and I got married at and we have been to many weddings there as well. It is so beautiful and has the perfect setup for a wedding with the center aisle and stage. Also it provides beautiful places for indoor and outdoor pictures. The staff is so friendly and very willing to help in anyway possible. It is large enough to accommodate approximately 300 people very comfortably. I have no complaints and would recommend this as a great church for a wedding to anyone without a church home of their own!

An amazing program where they teach kids of age 2 to preschool the basic stuff they need to know. The preschool teacher has a teaching degree and will get your future kindergarten student ready to walk in to elementary school prepared for everything they need to know. It allows you mothers to have a break for a few hours and allow you children to socialize with kids their age. This program puts God in the program and very reasonable.

This place is a little girls dream come true. Everything is pink, glittery, sparkly, feathery, furry, and smells like candy. This is a cute little shop with loud music and a place where these mini princess can get a hair do (usually an updo or braids with glitter) and dress up as a rockstar, a princess, etc. Its loads of fun, but load of money too. Aprox 25 per kid if you were to have a party. they get a goodie bag filled with items too, Girls can make their own bath and body products and purchase jewelery, accesories...u name it.

This is the greatest team sport opportunity for all kids from kindergarten through 6th grade. It is well organized and family orientated. My son played here all his young years and I was impressed at how well it is run. Once in a great while their might be a distasteful coach in the bunch but very rare.

On my first visit to Dr. Jan, we spent about 1 hour together, with her taking a complete history from me, as well as performing a complete physical.
She only sees one new patient per day (when she takes new patients) and she really does give personalized attention to each patient.
The staff is sometimes harried and disorganized; however, Dr. Jan seems to be able to always figure out which end is up!
PROS: personalized care and attention
CONS: sometimes disorganized support staff

A couple of years ago, I was going through some rough times. Money was tight, hubby had lost his job, we were stressed to our limits.
And then I got a note on my door from Harbor Christian Fellowship.
This note was to attend a study on The Purpose Driven Life, but more importantly, it opened the door to a new church family. And that's a really long story for another time.
Harbor is a small church that meets in the Craven's Park Boys and Girl's Club on Sunday mornings. There are less than 100 families that go to Harbor, so you are not just envelope #533 - you are a real person. Everyone knows each other by name and the fellowship is great. Even my husband (who is not a regular attendee), likes to go to Harbor.
The worship is great. The pastor, Greg Powell, is a great speaker and teacher. There are home fellowships on Wednesday evenings that are both intimate and a LOT of fun!
If you are in the Arlington area and are looking for a church home, I hope that you will give Harbor a try!

I always take my give-away clothing to Mission Arlington because they are so well organized. I've never had to search for volunteers to help me. At any point in the week you will find at least 1-2 people outside waiting for drop-offs. They sort the items right then and get them distibuted to those in need. I never worry that my donations will be lost in the shuffle here.
