This is NOT an upscale sushi place. A tiny, cramped bar around a couple of busy, hassled chefs, making tuna rolls by a hundred at a time... But: you get to SEE your food in advance (always a plus with fresh fish), and, provided you know what you like, the menu allows for some excellent choices (7-peice salmon or tuna sashimi for $4!?).
The 'rotating' fish plates get stale after a while, and some dishes they don't make too often, so, check the menu and ASK THE WAITRESS for the stuff you want - even if you sit at the bar. You'll be glad you did, and the service is fast.
