Lagoon shows quality independent films – and it’s a good place to go, not any better or any worse than Uptown. Granted Lagoon is not cheap, but I was able to catch a freebie every now and then, so to me it averages out not so bad. Make sure to go early if you think movie you’re planning on watching will be popular – lines can get really long. Even better, buy tickets early and have a dinner at one of the many Uptown restaurants for a nice date night. Try to park at a meter though, since Lagoon’s parking lot is not cheap.
