Great mall with food court & lots of great stores 12/29/2005

This mall is a multi-purpose mall. If you enjoy walking either by yourself, with your child or with friends, this is a great mall to do so- no matter what the weather. Call for walking hours- I've gone an hour before opening & circled many times with a stroller. Once open, Town Center at Cobb mall offers many major department stores with affordable prices. There are also many specialty stores from Build-A-Bear to Victoria's (not so) Secrets to sports themed stores for the UGA to the Tech fans. If you're a Macy's/Rich's card-holder with children, ages 3-8, you may check them into the "Play-Away" while you shop in the store for up to 2 hours at a time. This is a FANTASTIC service! When you get hungry, try the food court or Ruby Tuesdays or Piccadilly's for a variety of food selection. The mall offers lots of parking, the only draw back is the busier times to the holidays has clustered traffic entering and leaving the mall area. The upside of this- the mall is located on Barrett Pkwy, exit 269 off of 75. It is basically located smack-dab between 75 & 575 on Barrett Pkwy and may also be accessed via Chastain Rd. & Busbee Pkwy. more
