A lot of people living in East Memphis are probably not aware of this place. It is located in somewhat of an unusual spot for a restaurant. I was very happy to drop in on a hot muggy afternoon for lunch. The space inside was dimly lit which I thought added to the ambiance. Using a buy one get one free coupon that is readily available, I was able to get lunch for next to nothing. Most of the staff was Mexican which is always a good sign to me when looking for genuine Mexican cuisine. I was, however, disappointed in their salsa. For a good dessert, try their flan or sopapilla.
