They will totally rip you off. I went in for a regular cleaning, which I had been doing for the last 5 years at another dentist, but I had signed up for dental insurance. They presented me with a treatment plan for $6485 (my share $2835) $2200 for a deep cleaning. I had a deep cleaning about 6 years ago, it cost $480. Then they wanted to put on 2 crowns, for 1 tooth that was slightly fractured ( a molar - last tooth in my mouth)\r
I was appalled. I went back to my regular dentist. HE SAID I DID NOT NEED A DEEP CLEANING AT ALL. He charged me $ 81 for a regular cleaning.\r
Re; the slightly fractured tooth he said it had been coming on for years, I could probably go the rest of my life without doing anything to it, and I should just be aware of it and avoid chewing ice or other heavy things on it. \r
Monarch dental wanted $6,485. - totally unnecessary services. I got it all done for $157\r
