Been going to Cafe Allegro for about 10 years now, just a few times per year. I like the atmosphere - and I think I've had better luck with food than most, but will agree some of the dishes have been bland. (Stick with the heartier red or butter sauces and away from the creamy whites.) \r
But the service ranges from ok to atrocious. I don't go at peak times, so I get seated right away, but the attention you get once seated varies wildly - not only from visit to visit but during the visit as well. If you get several visits from the water boy before they take your order, don't expect to ever see more water again. \r
Prices are ok and if you use the coupons that are all over, it is actually pretty good - if you are with someone you want to spend time with.
