I got my first tattoo with Tanya over a year ago, and I feel horrible that I've just gotten around to recommending her on Citysearch. Tanya is incredibly professional and helped me throughout the entire process. I was very picky about my first tattoo artist, and I was so pleased to read her reviews. Every good thing that I've read about Tanya and Above the Pearl is true! I contacted her about 5 months before I wanted my tattoo, and she and I met before I left to go off to another semester at school. She was willing to plan my tattoo appointment months in advanced. And then when I needed my date rescheduled, she was awesome and helped me reschedule. Unfortunately, there was a scheduling hiccup, but she was super flexible and understanding. I was so impressed with her art work and she helped fine tune the idea I had for my tattoo. \r

The thing that stood out to me was the professionalism and cleanliness/sterility her tattoo parlor had. I'm in nursing school and safety/sterility is incredibly important for me. She followed all of the state regulations and showed me all of her equipment before she started.\r

She walked me through the entire process and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone else. I will never get a tattoo any place else! SO glad I found her!
