The company, A Man With a Van, is the worst moving company I have ever dealt with! The owner of the company is incompetent, rude, unprofessional, and should not own a business. I was quoted, an assured that my move would not take longer than 3 hours. I needed to be in my new place by a specific time and they confirmed I would be. The moving company was over 2 hours late and was incredibly rude about it when I called to complain. The owner stated that these were good movers and I should be lucky I was receiving a low rate. A move that should have taken 3 hours (a one-bedroom apartment) took over 5! The movers took their time moving me out, stopped for a drink on the way to unload the truck, got lost because they did not print out directions before hand, were rude to the residents in my new building, and were an embarrassment! When I called the owner to discuss the lack of professionalism and tardiness, he screamed at me using profanity and hung up the phone on me. My new apartment has damage done to the building from the movers and the moving company refuses to take responsibility and pay for it. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone!!!!!! They should not be allowed to be called a business and no one should trust them to move their belongings!!!
