I was looking for a new hobby to get into and thought I would try stunt kites as were I live has plenty of wind. I picked out one from this place and received it within a week of ordering it. I really enjoyed flying the kites so I decided I would try out one that was a little larger and with more control. I spent about a week researching which kite I was wanting to order. I had no problems with the first order so I decided to go back to the same place. I placed the order on a friday evening and at that time I did not notice the note at the top of the web page saying that they would be closed for the following week due to a big kite event that week. I did not know this until the next tuesday when I logged on to see if they had a way to check status of my order which they do not. At that time is when I saw the notice of being closed and all orders would get 10% off for waiting, I decided I can wait until the next week for my kite.
Going off of what his notice said that all orders would go out the following monday, I had paid extra for faster shipping so I was expecting my order by wednesday or thursday. I get home from work and no package so I call this place and Corey answers and takes the order info and then tells me that it was back ordered. I told him when I placed the order his web site said It was in stock and then he tells me that oh that his IT guy was not up to date with his stock. I start thinking maybe this was not the place to do business. I asked when he expected the kite back in stock. He tells me it should be in this next week, at this point I am thinking to myself that I can wait another week for the kite and get 10% off the cost.
It is now a week later I call and get Corey, he takes my order info and again tells me that it still back order and said it might be in within a week. At this point I have now been waiting over 3 weeks and still don""t have my Kite. I told him to cancel the order and I would find another place to spend my money. He didn't seem to care one bit about the loss of a sale. He also tells me that if everyone would tell him what they want to order he would keep it in stock. I thought that is why you would advertise what you have to sell.
After some more research I find another store in the same town that has what I want in stock so I placed my order with them.
To me it seems Corey Jensen is not to concerned about his business so maybe this will help someone else from having the same problem I did.
